Summer in Viking Ribe
Take the family on a journey of discovery through Viking Ribe.
At the Ribe Viking Museum, you can solve fun puzzles, mint your own Viking coin, and immerse yourselves in the world of the Vikings in Ribe Roots – Children's Viking Village.
There’s plenty to choose from for both children and adults—and many ways to experience the Viking Age together.
Mint Your Own Viking Coin
During summer vacation, you can meet the coin maker in Ribe Roots—the Children's Viking Village.
Come hear some great Viking stories and get help minting your very own coin with a design similar to the coins the Vikings used in Ribe.
It’s free for museum visitors to participate—and of course, you get to take the Viking coin home with you afterward.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Week 27 and Weeks 30–34

A Creative Break in the World of the Vikings
Make yourselves comfortable in the beanbag chairs, read a comic book, or color a drawing inspired by the Viking Age.
In our quiet room, children and adults can spend some peaceful time together and explore the world of the Vikings through colors, stories, and imagination.
When: During all opening hours in weeks 27–34
