Beeswax candles in the autumn darkness
In the gloomy fall, we create our own light—quite literally.
In celebration of the DUNKEL festival, we’re making beeswax candles at the Ribe Viking Museum.
Come join us and make your own candle to take home.
When: October 12th–15th, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Price: 10 kr. per candle (for museum visitors only)
Make your own rune stone
Explore the world of runes and decorate your own little rune stone.
Children and their parents can paint designs, write their names in runes, or draw inspiration from authentic runestones from the Viking Age. Of course, you can take the stone home with you afterward.
A fun, creative activity that you can do on your own.
When: October 10th–18th, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Price: Free for museum visitors
